Demonstrating Environmental Stewardship

…Fraleigh believes the nursery industry is starting to better understand that it will need to look at things differently if it wants to survive. “We can’t expect to do the same thing and expect something different,” he said. At the same time he said, he is excited about the enhancements that have occurred within the industry.
“We are coming up with so many varieties of new plants that it’s hard for consumers to keep up,” Fraleigh said…
“We are planning an all-out marketing blitz to make our customers (landscape contractors and re-wholesalers) and the public aware of our products and methods,” Fraleigh said. “We want to get to the point where the public is asking for it.”
“We want to demonstrate the Gro-Eco™ system will add value to plant materials and at the same time show that our industry is very capable of being great environmental stewards,” he added.
